Teradata is seeking a Cloud Operations Senior Analyst to join its Change Operations team within Cloud Ops L2. The role involves managing Teradata’s as-a-Service offering across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with responsibilities spanning cloud network administration, security, provisioning, and operational optimization.

Key duties include supporting migrations from on-premise to cloud, executing changes in production environments, ensuring security best practices, and maintaining high availability and performance across cloud platforms. The role also requires participation in 24x7 on-call support rotations and collaborating closely with team members and management to handle changes, incidents, and escalations efficiently.

The successful candidate will play a critical part in implementing cloud solutions, managing infrastructure components, and contributing to ongoing process improvements for Change Management operations in a multi-cloud environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of IT experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer role.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Cloud certifications required.
  • ITIL or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
  • Willingness to travel for both short-term and long-term assignments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Applications.
  • Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Hands-on experience in Teradata administration and familiarity with cloud capabilities and limitations.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud delivery models and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with designing and supporting VaaS infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure components and orchestration in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud services for compute, storage, network, and operating systems (especially Azure).
  • Leadership experience managing shifts or teams.
  • Experience with Enterprise VPNs and Azure Virtual LANs.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud cost management tools.
  • Knowledge of data archiving and restore policies.
  • Familiarity with database technologies including Teradata, Oracle, DB2, Netezza, SQL Server, MySQL.
  • VMware certification is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Linux administration and shell scripting.
